Project Background:
The objective of this project was the elaboration of the tender documentation for the reconstruction and expansion of the existing plant, more specifically the water line. The reconstruction was necessary due to the poor condition of the equipment, and the expansion – due to the need for an expansion of the plant’s capacity.
Project Activities:
As subcontractor of GKW, BORA carried out:
collection and analysis of the available project documentation;
inspection and assessment of the condition of the plant and equipment;
technical assistance and consultancy services for the elaboration of the technical design;provision of technical support for the project.
II. WWTP Sofia – sludge plant reconstruction
Client: Sofia Municipality
Terms of Contract: Design, Designer Supervision
Funding by: Sofia Municipality
Term: 1994 – 2001
Project Background:
The existing plant was designed in the period 1972–1974 with Soviet equipment. It was commissioned in 1981.
The purpose of the reconstruction was improvement of the efficiency of the sludge plant.
Project Activities:
BORA elaborated the working design on the basis of the equipment and technology supplied by Roediger. Its experts performed on-going designer supervision during the construction works.
