Project Background:
The plant was designed for treatment of the waste water of the town of Ruse, which was one of the polluters of the Danube River. The plant has capacity of a population equivalent of 240,000 and Qav/day = 52,500 m3/day.
The project was a part of a programme for design of urban waste water treatment plants for towns with a population equivalent of over 10,000 under Operational Programme Environment.
The site was commissioned in 2011.
Project Activities:
BORA elaborated a working design for all parts jointly with Diering, Germany, aligned the technical documentation with the Bulgarian standards and carried out Designer Supervision for the project.
